ABOUT US... Goods For The Planet retail store is located in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood, on the corner of Dexter & Mercer. We carry environmentally-friendly garden supplies, seeds, outdoor furniture, kitchen supplies, bed and bath linens, solar gadgets, office supplies, cleaning products, books, toys, home decor, gifts and more. We will constantly search out new products that incorporate advances in technology. Goods for the Planet wants to help you live a more sustainable lifestyle. We enable your choice to use products that benefit the environment and save money on utility bills. We research our products carefully and sell only those that are manufactured and packaged in a way that is least harmful to the environment, and also meet at least two of these criteria: * Help reduce consumption * Are made from recycled or renewable materials * Conserve energy or water * Can be recycled Where possible we get our products from local sources in order to minimize energy usage and support other local businesses. We will gladly share our product knowledge, and welcome any contributions or suggestions you may have. |
